Over more than 20 years caring for children - as a pediatric nurse practitioner in private medical practices, and for six pivotal years in the emergency room at Wolfson Children's Hospital at Baptist Health - I've built the kind of experience that's hard to find. In the ER, I helped provide care for children through every kind of emergency that came through the door, day and night, when it mattered most.
From fevers and fractures to serious emergencies, I've helped children through some of their most frightening moments, working alongside a skilled team of pediatric emergency physicians. Most families might not expect their child's provider to have stood in real emergencies - and not just once, but many times over. So when something worries you about your child, you have someone with the judgment, calm, and steady confidence that only experience like this can bring.
